Hi, I'm Gemma. I'm a photographer. I capture life.

Ever since I can remember I've had a love of all things photography, from my first Fisher Price camera to my wonderful Canon 5D which I use on all my photo shoots today. I have been a photographer for over six years and thoroughly enjoy every moment - I simply have the best job.

Previously I worked in PR and Marketing for 13 years, so you could say I have a love for all things creative. Simply taking a good picture is not the end for me - I want to develop your images into an amazing piece of art for your wall or a stunningly beautiful album filled with endless memories for you and your family to enjoy for many years.

My spare time is used up running around after my two crazy boys, Joe and Tommy, and, cycling mad husband Ben. We had a new addition to our family in 2016 - Teddy the Golden Doodle, who I enjoy walking in the woods every day. When I'm not doing that or taking photos, I'll be out (properly) running - normally along the River Thames in Marlow, where I may even sneak in a stop for a photo along the way!

My philosophy

My philosophy with photography is to capture life. My photography is described by others in the industry as storytelling, artistic, creative and beautiful. I get a buzz from capturing genuine moments which reflect the fun, love and connection between a family. I like to use only natural light against a backdrop of beautiful outdoor locations as this is when families are at their best and relaxed. No forced smiles and no scary studios!

Here's a little slice of my life. . .
